## 2. App Privacy
Our mobile app may request access to your device's location, and may collect your mobile phone number, in order to support certain in-app features and notifications.
**Location Information**
If you choose to enable location permissions, the app may collect and use your device's location for functionality that depends on it. This includes:
* Foreground location: When the app is open and actively being used.
* Background location: When the app is not actively in use but needs location access to support specific features.
We do not:
* Store long-term location history
* Sell or share your location with third parties
* Use your location for advertising
You may enable or disable location access at any time through your device settings. Some features may not function properly without location access.
**How Location Data Is Used**
Location data is used only within the app to support features that require awareness of your position. We keep this usage limited, functional, and tied directly to improving your in-app experience.
**Phone Number & Text Message (SMS) Information**
We collect mobile phone numbers directly from authorized users within the mobile app. During account setup, you provide your mobile number and **actively opt in** to receive text messages by selecting a consent checkbox that is **unchecked by default**. Agreeing to receive text messages is **not pre-selected and is not a condition** of creating an account or using the app. We do not purchase, rent, or otherwise obtain phone numbers from outside sources.
We collect employee phone numbers solely for business transaction purposes — namely, notifying employees about their assigned jobs. SMS messages sent by our company are **transactional in nature** and are used only for related business communications. We do not send promotional or marketing messages through this service. Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are not shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.
If you opt in, you may receive account and operational text messages from Progress Job Management, which may include notifications about assigned jobs, purchase orders, bid requests, work order updates, scheduling changes, and related project activity tied to your account.

* For help, reply **HELP** or contact us using the details in Section 5.
* To stop receiving messages, reply **STOP** at any time. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message and will not receive further texts unless you opt in again.
* Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
## 3. Information Sharing
**We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS opt-in consent with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.** Mobile opt-in information and consent are used solely to deliver the operational notifications described above and are never shared with affiliates or external parties for their own marketing.
More broadly, we do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate the app and deliver messages (for example, our SMS messaging provider), and only to the extent necessary for them to perform those services on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, or where required by law.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Location-based features should only be used with parental guidance.
